Is the Sponsorship Program the same as the Forever Free plan?

No, they're separate. The CropSense Sponsorship Program is a distinct, donor-funded initiative that gives full paid-tier access and dedicated support to smallholder farmers who need more than the Free plan covers but can't afford a subscription. Our goal is to sponsor 5,000 such farmers across Africa within 5 years.

What happens if I exceed my plan's hectare limit?

If you need to monitor more hectares than your plan includes, we offer flexible add-on pricing. Growth plan users pay $1 per additional hectare, while Pro AgroBiz users pay $0.50 per additional hectare. You can easily add more hectares through your dashboard as your farming operations expand. Free plan users who need to monitor more than 5 hectares can upgrade to the Growth plan, or may qualify for free expanded access through our Sponsorship Program.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan anytime?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll only pay the prorated difference for the current billing period. When downgrading, the change takes effect at your next billing cycle, so you won't lose access to premium features until then.

Do you offer local currency payments?

Yes! We support local currency payments in multiple African countries including Naira (NGN), Kenyan Shilling (KES), Ghana Cedi (GHS), and others.

How does Enterprise pricing work?

Enterprise pricing is customized based on your specific needs, including the number of hectares to monitor, required integrations, custom features, and level of support. We work with financial institutions, governments, NGOs, large-scale farms, and agri-projects to create tailored solutions. Contact our sales team for a personalized quote and demo.

Do you offer discounts for NGOs and academic institutions?

Yes! We offer a 50% discount on all paid plans for registered NGOs, non-profit organizations, and academic institutions (universities, research centers, agricultural colleges). This discount applies to both monthly and annual billing. To qualify, please contact our sales team with your organization's registration documents or academic credentials for verification.

Are there any setup fees or hidden costs?

No, there are no setup fees or hidden costs. Our pricing is transparent - you only pay for your chosen plan and any additional hectares you monitor. Enterprise customers may have custom implementation costs, but these are clearly outlined in the proposal. All features listed in each plan are included at no extra charge.
